Chicago Review Press publishes general nonfiction on a wide range of subjects including music, film, popular science, history, biography, and travel, as well as an award-winning line of children’s activity books. Lawrence Hill Books publishes nonfiction on topics of African American interest, progressive politics, Middle Eastern studies, and feminism. Ball Publishing specializes in gardening books, and Zephyr Press publishes professional development titles for teachers.
Every year, we publish over 120 titles, specializing in books which have a distinctive Welsh identity.
Insomniac has developed special niche areas in which it publishes unique books. For example, its black studies books, gay and lesbian books, personal finance books, celebrity writer-as-musician books (including titles by Matthew Good, Jann Arden and Terri Clark), and gay mysteries have developed devoted followings.

Ooligan Press is a student-run teaching press affiliated with Portland State University (PSU) and its College of Liberal Arts & Sciences. Founded in 2001 by publisher and writer Dennis Stovall, Ooligan Press houses one of PSU’s two master’s programs in writing.
