The Democracy 250 Book Award honors an outstanding work of non-fiction that promotes awareness of, and appreciation for, and aspect of the history of the Atlantic Provinces.
Eligible entries will be fiction titles dealing with some aspect of Atlantic Canadian history (social, political, economic, cultural, etc.) Must be published in Canada for the first time during the award year by a native or resident Atlantic Canadian.
