Fresh Ink is a novice contest designed for new hobby writers who have not yet been published. The awards are the ideal opportunity to have your word critiqued by a professional. Receive valuable insights, recommendations and connections that will assist you in developing your craft. Winners will have the opportunity to mix and mingle with accomplished professionals and industry leaders. <p>All winners in each category will receive complimentary membership or renewal of membership in The Word Guild for the following year, their name included among the promotional material at The Word Guild's Annual Write Canada Conference, and a press release to their local newspaper, if contact provided.<p>All judges will look for an underlying expression of the writer's Christian worldview informing and influencing the writing. The entry should not contain undue profanity, graphic sex, or other objectionable material, and must otherwise conform to generally accepted standards of the CBA as determined by The Word Guild.
