SouthWord Literary Festival


The SouthWord Literary Festival is in its 40th year and is being held in Chattanooga, Tenn. It will feature readings, conversations, panel discussions and book signings from Southern writers. There will also be custom merch from Burlaep available. SoLit, an essential literary arts hub since 1952, will host the celebration; it is bringing one of its strongest and most diverse lineups ever, hoping to engage young people and adults in a lifelong love of reading, writing, and community conversation.
