Agnes Scott Writers' Festival

Agnes Scott College Annual Writers' Festival has been inviting distinguished writers to campus to read their works, teach and talk with students since 1972. The Festival includes a writing contest in poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, and dramatic writing and visiting writers reading and holding workshops. The program is open to both the public and the campus community; an alumna writer is almost always featured and a one-credit workshop is available for students.
