Although Ilminster Literary Festival is small compared with some, it’s perfectly formed! That’s helped to make it a highlight of the town’s annual cultural calendar.

Since it began in 2016, ILF has attracted enthusiastic support from the community and wide-ranging speakers from both literature and the wider arts. Past festivals have featured authors, journalists, politicians, well-known arts figures and both national and local speakers. We work with local schools to create events for children and young people and strive every year to put together a varied week of events with something for everyone.
