In 2024, the Massachusetts Center for the Book is piloting Mass Kids Lit Fest in the Pioneer Valley, with plans to expand statewide in future years. Help us build excitement around books and reading! This geographically dispersed festival will take place from May 6–12 across Hampshire, Hampden, and Franklin counties. The festival showcases Massachusetts-based children’s and YA authors and features a few different types of events, including school visits, library events, and community workshops and activities.
