Dr. William Henry Drummond (1854-1907) was "Canada’s First National Poet" as well as doctor and a silver mine owner in the Cobalt area. Included in many anthologies through the years including: The New Oxford Book of Canadian Verse (1982).<p>All entrants must be Canadian residents or landed immigrants.
Poems must be titled, previously unpublished, and are not to exceed 50 lines in length, including the title.
