Run in Association with The Authors' Club, the Stanford Dolman Travel Book of the Year is the centrepiece of the Edward Stanford Travel Writing Awards.
<p>
The prize, which is judged by a panel of travel writers, celebrates excellence in literary travel writing and is open to authors from all across the world.
<p>The entry must be a full-length travel book. It may be self-published, it may exist as an e-book, it may have been etched on rock or hand-drawn in gold on purple vellum, but the judges will only consider books that have been printed on paper and delivered to them by the last day of February
