The Trans Book Festival is a day to celebrate the talents, courage and creativity of trans and gender diverse authors. Since the so-called transgender tipping point in the late 2010s, there’s been an explosion of books written by the transgender, gender diverse and non-binary people here on this continent and around the world. The Trans Book Festival will take a moment to honour our communities’ achievements across memoir, poetry, fiction and non-fiction and foster a critical dialogue on diversity within Australian publishing.
