The Children’s Book Festival annually draws approximately 400 visitors to USM and Hattiesburg annually, including librarians, educators and fans of the genre who enjoy and benefit from the event’s programing that includes lectures and workshops featuring renowned authors and illustrators and other experts in the field who share their knowledge and experiences creating timeless stories and images enjoyed by both youth and adults.
