Flemington Summer Book Fest is the largest Memorial Day Book Festival on the East Coast.
The annual festival is presented by the borough’s Act 2 Books, 24 Central Station in Turntable Junction.
The fest is anchored by the Colossal Tent Event, a sale of more than 10,000 books from Act 2 Books plus several thousand LP’s all offered for sale at 99 cents. Records and comics are being offered by Groovy Graveyard Movies, Music and Monsters, of Asbury Park, an official sponsor of the event for several years.
A local author showcase and author readings round out the weekend festivities.
