The Virginia Children’s Book Festival is free, three-day festival held each year on the campus of Longwood University. Come meet your favorite authors and illustrators in person, participate in amazing activities, and and experience the magic of reading. The VCBF was created to inspire kids to WANT to read, and to make reading accessible to every child, regardless of circumstance. We want every child to see themselves in books, and to become readers for their entire lives.
