Founded in 2011, Down & Out Books is an independent publisher of literary and crime fiction based in Tampa, Florida. We give the highest priority for consideration to authors who submit exclusively to us. We prefer stand-alones or first-in-series books of 60,000 to 90,000 words, though will also consider novella-length books and later-in-series books especially if you own the rights to the earlier books.
Note: Don't assume that because a publisher is listed in a genre, that your book is a good fit for their publishing program. Take the time to research the books each publisher has released to find the best matches.
