Feldheim is a family-owned and operated publishing house since 1939. When Philipp Feldheim escaped the tragic horrors of the Holocaust and arrived in New York City, he established a modest bookstore on the Lower East Side. At that time, Jewish books were hard to come by, and the ones he obtained were eagerly purchased by customers thirsting for Torah literature. Mr. Feldheim recognized the growing need for authentic Hebraica and Judaica, and his small enterprise expanded to become Philipp Feldheim Inc., publishers of "Torah Literature of Quality."
