The SFA Press broadens the university's mission of teaching, research, scholarship, creative work and service by publishing works of cultural and scholarly significance. With a goal of maintaining the high standards of traditional areas of literary publishing, while providing hands-on training opportunities for students, SFA Press publications have explored the history and culture of East Texas and the surrounding region, meeting the needs of regional and international audiences.
