Genesis Press

Genesis Press is the largest privately owned African-American book publisher in the country. Founded in Columbus, Mississippi in 1993, by two African-American attorneys, Genesis spawned the Indigo imprint, which was rapidly followed by Indigo After Dark, a series of erotica anthologies, and Love Spectrum, which portrays interracial relationships. Since then, Genesis has steadily increased its reach, and now brings its readers everything from suspense and science fiction to Christian-oriented romance and non-fiction.
