Bentley Publishers is always looking for good books by new and promising authors. We strive to foster a publishing environment that encourages our authors to share their knowledge with the greater community in their own voice. We are interested in books that showcase good research, strong illustrations and drawings, as well as valuable technical information.
Due to the death of our founder and publisher, Diane Karr, Branch Line Press is no longer accepting or considering new manuscripts. We will continue to sell our existing titles while they remain in stock, but we will not be revising our existing titles or publishing new ones.

Racemaker was founded in 2006 by a group of individuals passionate about automotive history and vintage racing who wanted to produce books that should be out, but aren’t books a major publisher would pick up. Historical accuracy combined with readability are the hallmarks of all of Racemaker Press’ titles. In many ways it’s a scholarly approach rooted in a desire to create compelling and entertaining reads through beautiful, well-made books available at reasonable prices.

through the publication of books. Our aim is to show how people’s lives have impacted
communities in the region, and to portray the culture as it realized by members of the
communities. We are interested in historical narratives, memoirs, photography, art,
oral history, biography, poetry, fiction, children’s books, cookbooks, and documents
that tell stories of the people and culture of southeastern New England.
What we look for is a blend of urgency of language, imagination, distinctiveness, and craft. What we produce and how we produce it -- from design to printing to paper quality --honors the writing in books which boast the uniquely sensual look and feel of a Tupelo Press book.
